Malaga

Picasso’s hometown, Malaga is a vibrant Spanish port city with lush gardens and gorgeous historic streets. A walk along the main boulevard yields architecture from gothic, renaissance and baroque periods.

The very impressive Alcazaba is in Malaga – a palace/fortress with two rings of walls and many towers.

In deference to its famous son, there is a research centre with temporary Picasso exhibitions.
