The scenery of the Amalfi Coast in Southern Italy is deservedly Italy’s most popular destination – where dreams come true.
However, there are a couple of things of which the traveller must beware – there are far too many spectacular places to appreciate in just one trip, and many a seasoned traveller has lost their heart irrevocably to this beautiful corner of the world.
The road twists from Sorrento to Salerno – the picturesque villages you will pass through en route have their roots firmly planted in history dating back to the 10th Century AD.

Positano was once an important seaport for Middle East trade. In more recent times, it has evolved from an artists colony, to a resort town and finally as a star of Hollywood movies.
Mere superlatives fail to capture the essence of Capri. This tiny island beckons from the dramatic azure gulf just a short trip from Naples, Sorrento or Positano. Answer the call – you’ll love every minute.

Orton International has apartments and villas in Sorrento, Massa Lubrense and Borgo Nerano, available for week long stays (Saturday to Saturday). Most have glorious sea views, are all well appointed and comfortable.
A car is not necessary for our apartments in Sorrento. The attractions of the surrounding areas – Pompeii, Capri and Caserta are all well served by inexpensive public transport.

AMALFI

Hotel Dei Cavalieri 3*

The Hotel Dei Cavalieri is situated high above the coast with a panorama over the whole of the Gulf of Salerno, it is only a ten-minute stroll from the centre of Amalfi.
