Option 1 – AVIGNON + CHATEAUNEUF-DU-PAPE
8.00 am: Appointment in a charming restaurant located in the centre of Avignon. (you will make your own way to the restaurant).
Meet and greet by the Chef and registration of the trainees.
Creation of the recipe cards to be performed. (Theoretical demonstration with Practice).
During the Apéritif, various ideas and comments will be exchanged about the course. You will learn how you can accommodate the meal with wine.
Lunch (drinks included) with the Chef and informal talk.
3.00 pm: pick up by a minibus.
Your English speaking driver/guide will take you to the wine road.
Wine-tasting in a cellar in Tavel, first Rosé wine in France, or, in Beaumes-de-Venise, exceptional soil located at the foot of the majestic Dentelles de Montmirail and the Mont Ventoux.
Continue to Châteauneuf-du-Pape for wine-tasting in a cellar, called «the 13 vine-plant’s country».
In each cellar, you will discover the history of the house and the guide or the wine owner will offer you a visit of the winery with explanations about the harvest, the AOC Côtes du Rhônes…
7.00 pm: drop off at the hotel.
