A group of 56 islands in the Aegean Sea comprises some of the most beautiful islands in the world! The name “Cyclades” refers to the islands forming a circle (the name in English means: “circular islands”) around the sacred island of Delos. According to the Greek mythology, Poseidon, God of the sea, furious at the Cyclades nymphs turned them into islands.

Day 1 Athens
On arrival in Athens, transfer independently to the PHILIPPOS Hotel.
Located in a quiet residential area in the shadow of the Acropolis, this little hotel is a firm favourite with our guests. The main gate for the Acropolis is a 5 minute walk, the old Plaka district -15 minutes.
Day 2 Athens to Mykonos (B)
Our car will transfer you to your ferry in the port of Piraeus. The trip to the island of Mykonos will take between 4 and 6 hours, depending on the vessel and route taken. On arrival in Mykonos, our local representative will be waiting at the port holding a sign bearing your name. Transfer to the “K” HOTEL overlooking Mykonos Chora (the main village).
Days 3 & 4 Mykonos (B)
Explore the cute little town with its crooked streets, live it up in the wild night life or discover the many beaches. Pack a large bottle of sun screen, the beaches of Mykonos are “clothing optional”.
Day 5 Mykonos to Santorini (B)
Our local representative will transfer you to the Mykonos ferry port. The scenic ferry trip travels via some of the pretty islands of the Cyclades on it’s way to Santorini. You will be met at the port of Athinios and transferred up the spectacular road and through the unique vineyards to Fira Village and the LOUCAS Hotel – a cliff top collection of old cave houses – each with a sunset terrace.
Days 6 & 7 Santorini (B)
The pretty villages of Santorini stretch along the cliff-top overlooking the “Caldera”, the crater from the volcanic eruption that split this island several thousand years ago. Santorini is one of the rumoured sites of the lost city of Atlantis.
Day 8 Santorini to Athens (B)
Our local representative will transfer you to the Thira airport for your flight Santorini to Athens and your onward connection.
Mykonos
Long an island enjoyed by the international jet set for its nightlife, it is reported in mythology to have been formed by the petrified bodies of the giants that Hercules killed.
Along with the famous tavernas, restaurants and nightclubs, Mykonos is dotted by hundreds of churches, some of the best beaches of all the Greek Islands and brilliant white cubic houses. This picture is completed with the white wind mills at the southern region of Castro.
Mykonos today has all the necessary facilities of a modern resort for those seeking an active and cosmopolitan type of holiday, both day and night.
However there are also some quiet corners for those who favour a more peaceful vacation and for a cultural experience, just a short trip by excursion launch brings you to the sacred island of Delos – the birthplace of Apollo.

Naxos
The biggest and most fertile island in the Cyclades group, Naxos produces horticultural and agricultural products including excellent wines.
Once part of an ancient Venetian empire, there are many medieval buildings and castles. Naxos’ west coast has some of the best sandy beaches in the Mediterranean.

Paros
The beautiful island of Paros has many traditional villages with whitewashed houses, narrow lanes and stone archways. Sandy beaches and private, sheltered coves abound and the many tavernas and restaurants offer fresh seafood. The fishing village of Naoussa is one of the prettiest villages in Greece. Many restaurants line the waterfront – try “Kakavia” a local bouillabaise.

Santorini
Santorini or Thira according to tradition, was initially named Kalliste (the best) and is revered as one of the most beautiful Greek Islands.
Legend suggests that the island is all that remains of a larger land mass, which disappeared in a volcanic eruption in 1500BC and it is said that here is the lost city of Atlantis.
Invest at least two nights in one of the many villas or boutique hotels to appreciate the fantastic views and sunsets.
Santorini is also famous for it’s thousands of steps, as the villages were designed to cling to the cliff face overlooking the volcano “Caldera”. Bring your walking shoes and enjoy the workout!

Sifnos
In ancient times, Sifnos island was considered the island of Apollo. This is among the most picturesque Greek islands. The villages of Sifnos are like little jewels of small cubic houses, narrow stone alleys, white chapels, flowered yards and colourful windows. The safe, soft sandy beaches of Sifnos have crystal clear water. A stay on Sifnos combines well with Milos, Folegandros and Santorini.
Folegandros
With wild landscape and relaxing atmosphere, Folegandros is among the most impressive islands of Cyclades. The main village (Chora) has a particularly Cycladic atmosphere and breathtaking views of the Aegean Sea. and the nearby islands.
